Being Fully Persuaded

SCRIPTURE:

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. (Romans 4:20–21)

DEVOTIONAL:

Being Fully Persuaded

The revelation of royalty shows us a whole new way of living—a lifestyle without limits. This kingdom lifestyle says there are no financial impossibilities because God can solve any financial problem overnight. This is depicted all throughout the Bible.

When God provided Abraham a ram to sacrifice instead of Isaac, his son, the scripture says, “And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh [that is, The Lord will provide];” (Genesis 22:14 KJ21). Abraham didn’t provide his own ram—God did. Abraham experienced the berakah, or blessing of the Lord, and because of it, he no longer had to make things happen through toil.

Divine favor, success, riches, and supernatural empowerment worked on his behalf because Abraham became fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was also able to perform.

PRAYER:

Father, thank you that You’ve called me to a lifestyle without limits and You have provided everything I need. Like Abraham, I believe that You are able to perform every promise You’ve given to me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
